Conveniently found right in Cleveland's backyard in Akron, The Bridgestone Invitational (formerly The NEC Invitational) is one of the year's elite professional golf tournaments and features a field that rivals any one of the four majors.  This year, all of the top ten golfers in the world are present minus the injured number one, Tiger Woods.  As a golf fan, it doesn't get much better than The Bridgestone, which is played at the gorgeous and challenging Firestone Country Club.  Overall, the tournament is extremely well-run, always popular for people who make the yearly drive down I-77, and like LeBron James, is another tremendous asset for the city of Akron and the northeast Ohio region.
